BMW X3 sDrive30i

As the base trim in the lineup, the sDrive30i comes with a 2.0-liter BMW TwinPower Turbo inline 4-cylinder engine. This engine can produce up to 248 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque and comes with rear-wheel drive that many prefer for its typical quick acceleration rate. In fact, with the standard engine in place, it can reach 60 MPH in a mere six seconds. Looking at the transmission, this engine is paired with an 8-speed Sport Automatic. It comes with Sport and Manual shift modes along with steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters. So, you’ll have the versatility of the two separate modes that work in tandem with the diverse shifting of the transmission. Plus, you can conveniently slip into the gear you want by simply tapping on the shifters located at the wheel.

Fuel Economy

With this vehicle, you can achieve an EPA-estimated 25 city and 29 highway MPG. You’ll feel happy to know that you can get to work or keep going toward your next destination without as many stops.

BMW X3 xDrive30i

This trim carries a lot of similarities with the base model, except that it comes in an all-wheel drive configuration. The “xDrive” following its name indicates that it features the xDrive intelligent all-wheel drive system, which gives you an upgraded level of traction. This can be helpful to know when looking at different BMW options and knowing what kind of traveling you do most often. This trim still comes with the 2.0-liter BMW TwinPower Turbo inline 4-cylinder engine that produces 248 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. You’ll find no difference from the acceleration rate you can get with the sDrive30i version of this vehicle. It will also still be paired with the 8-speed Sport Automatic transmission that has both Sport and Manual shift modes with paddle shifters.

Fuel Economy

The gas mileage you can get with this trim mirrors that of the introductory trim. You’ll also achieve an EPA-estimated 23 city and 29 highway MPG for fewer stops along the road.

BMW X3 M40i

Changing course slightly, this trim boasts a 3.0-liter BMW M TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder engine. This engine increases the power to 382 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque, which changes the pick up you can experience when getting ready to take off. What’s truly exciting is the pick up you will have with this trim! It can accelerate from 0 to 60 MPH in only 4.4 seconds, so you can race past other cars or get up to speed before leaving the on-ramp. Not much changes with this transmission, as it’s still the same 8-speed Sport Automatic that you’ve come to rely upon. Though this trim doesn’t feature the “xDrive” in its name, it does come with the xDrive all-wheel drive system, which gives you a solid grip on any terrain.

Fuel Economy

In this vehicle trim, you’ll achieve an EPA-estimated 21 city and 27 highway MPG. If you’re zipping through busy Meridian streets, you’ll feel satisfied with the gas mileage.

BMW X3 M

Upgrade your might when you opt to drive the BMW X3 M trim. It offers a 3.0L BMW M TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder engine that produces 473 horsepower with 457 lb-ft of torque. You’ll feel the power when you start the engine and can seamlessly shift into gear with the flexibility of the 8-speed M Sport Automatic transmission with DriveLogic. If you’re hoping to get even more power, add the available Competition package to your BMW X3 M. When you choose this package, it increases your horsepower to 503. Also, it increases your acceleration rate from 3.9 to 3.7 seconds when driving from 0 to 60 MPH.

Fuel Economy

If you’re driving this trim, you’ll achieve an EPA-estimated 14 city and 19 highway MPG.
